also gen x'ers had victorian grandparents and great grandparents which were very strict lol, i remember no card games on a Sunday (gambling) elbows off the table, dont scuff your feet or whistling, seen but not heard but then we had the freedom given to us by our parents 😅, no rudeness or bad manners allowed!
