At holiday inn in Tampa now first my daughters wallet came up missing at the front desk then left mine in the shuttle they can’t find mind either then someone told us they turned it in to the front desk but somehow they know nothing worse experience ever and that’s just a few things

If you were checked out, your key cards would have not worked on the room. They have the ability to see who used cards to access your room (it’s the same machine that reprograms your lock). Escalate! Ask for managers, threaten to sue!

as a former housekeeper, if you walk into a room you assume is empty and you find that many items, you double check to make sure they actually checked out. And anything left if you had checked out should have been logged and put in lost and found.

I think you should escalate because this is an issue that’s bigger than your experience alone. This person has done this before and will do it again. At some point they will take something that is expensive or sentimental from someone. You can help shut this down now.

Make a formal complaint to the manager with your phone recording it. Also notify Hilton Corporate office. Corporate will say that the company has no control because the hotel are actually privately owned. They hotel has to reimburse you for all your lost property and should comp your room the last night

If they cleaned and cleared out your room as if you checked out did they refund your last night. I would be petty at this point because of the level of concern they displayed is ridiculous. I'd demand a refund for my entire stay plus compensation for the value of missing items.
