@t3af4: Wounds from when you're a child are always fresh no matter how much you've grown, they sting, they hurt and you never forget, you only learn to move on. not everybody validates this feeling cus to them it often comes across as, “oh it happened long ago u still remember that? we were kids”. but they were a kid too when it happened to them. You can never really heal from it, and i think its so perfectly potrayed in ff7 through cloud. i've been wanting to use the first clip in an edit for so long but had no idea how id do it. the news surprised him and hes so evidently distraught he even laughs a little, to anybody else it might seem like it doesnt matter,, tifa and him have already gone through so much tifa knows now that it couldn't be him and cloud knows he can reassure tifa but thats not the point. The point is that he just realised how he was mistreated back then, and no matter how old the news is, its still news to him. that younger cloud is still a part of current cloud and he will hurt all the same.
