Hi Eli, I wanted to ask you what your opinion on the "ATLUS toning down Yosuke for modern audiences" situation, more so the backlash that came from it. I personally believe that it's kinda too early to judge and deem it censorship. However, I do think that changes can be made without ruining his character. I don't have an issue with Yosuke being homophobic (or characters being problematic in general) but for example his "omg Kanji is gay 😱" bit drags on and on, and the player is kinda just expected to sit there and laugh along in those situations. If the player is supposedly Kanji's friend, then I think they should be given the option to defend Kanji/push back on the stuff that Yosuke says. I feel like approaching it this way, we can still keep Yosuke's character pretty much the same, while also recontextualizing the manner in which Yu or the player interacts with it at the least.

Ports for p1 and p2 IS and EP are the things I’ve wanted for a while now. Like I understand the argument for emulation but it really does feel like Atlus is just leaving money on the table because I would be more than willing to pay for a port onto modern consoles. I’m fairly optimistic that Atlus is gonna do a p1 and p2 remake eventually but I would like to play throughs the originals at least once before any remakes come out.

Now imagine if they split the game into 3 parts make it action instead of turn based and change the story into some weird multi parallel BS. Yeah Atlas would never do such thing they respect their fans and their IP.
