you should really read about what the soldiers ACTUALLY did there, the vast majority weren't pillaging the population like you're trying to imply. The soldiers mostly just patrolled, interacted with the locals and tried to deter insurgency. They did checkpoints, searched and destroyed IED's, raided insurgent camps and bases, trained Iraqi resistance forces, built new infrastructure, and gave medical attention. But none of this fits your narrative I guess
