Fun fact! The holes were actually MUCH smaller because most of the vietnamese soldiers were petite small men or teenage boys! The ones who discovered it made it wider so tourists can fit through.

I have nothing but the utmost respect for the Vietnamese people. They broke a country’s military that didn’t think it could be done. They ego smashed the United States so hard it overcorrected. What we did it their country was unforgivable
