It's so normal to have overweight dogs that healthy ones think it's mistreated, but they don't understand that having obese dogs doesn't mean loving them, every time they see mine they say "poor thing he's so skinny" when the vets keep telling me they don't often see golden retrievers so fit

We get told all the time our boy is too skinny! He’s perfect weight for his height and build and he’s muscly! People are so used to seeing obese dogs!
