Glad this one found the right home @cardcollector2 • I always say it, 2 sides can win a trade. Wasn't sure Ry would 100% make a play on this one as you can see here. Green kaboom market for those unfamiliar is on another planet right now / My plan was to ask high at the National and see what happened, but ultimately hold it if it didn't sell for the future potential of an iconic 1/1 to at some point soon realize thousands more... yes I made a really great profit...! also could've held the card to find out it's only worth 35k on auction and nobody wanted it at what I paid...laying 41k in cash is usually to make a decent return. Ryan is an inspiration to me and many in this space; Nothing but love and respect for him and what he's built, so I shot him a call yesterday to assure him being satisfied with the deal to which he said "I wouldn't sell that thing for 75k, it's staying with me for life." The Brady went higher than both of us anticipated and so I wanted to do what I could there to make our trade align in the end. I've had wins like this, l've also had losses like this, but nobody ever criticized my losses...love you guys, l always try to get it right, and if I wasn't perfect which I never will be) I do what I can on the back end. So much admiration for Ry, him and I both understood the deal and were on the same page the whole way. Also to the gentleman who sold me the kaboom, I will see you at a show and take care of you on our next deal as I tend to do in any of these scenarios. Part of the game folks, it's about how you finish. Congrats again CC2 🤍
