also one of rudeus' main weaknesses in mushoku is that he cant use battle aura, the thing that lets te swordsmen in that verse do their crazy feats. this is partially due to him not having a natural inclination and mental attunement to fight physically. subaru would not have this limitation and would be a lot stronger physically in the mushoku verse. not top tier mind you because the other reason he cant use much battle aura is the reincarnated body does have a condition that limits it

It's also canonical that Subaru is one of the ONLY people in the world who can use RBD decently, because of his savior complex and low self-worth along with supernatural fortitude. Louis Arnab herself(arch-bishop of gluttony who's unfazed from pain and death like her brothers) was completely broken after a few loops in Subaru's body and called him a complete monster(monster who devours people,absorbs memories, and is an amalgamation of all her stolen memories so countless people into one called Subaru a monster for his fortitude and was terrified of him). Rudues would not just "die a few times and get used to it, then lock in". It's a question of whether he would go crazy from dying to many times, and would run away from the conflict
