Am I the only person who is VERY hesitant on doing this. I see reviews saying it caused their hair to come back thicker and more coarse and others say just the peach fuzz comes back…. My luck, it would come back thicker and coarse !!! 🫣

Licensed esti here - this is FINE! Just please for the love of god sanitize your razor after. That doesn't mean just rinse it off. Spray with isopropyl alcohol and make sure there is zero rust on the blades

as an esthetician - no, it will not make your hair grow back thicker. You may be able to feel the blunt edge of the shaved hair as it grows back and you’ll probably notice that more than the natural pointed shape when you touch it which makes it feel “coarser”. I hope that makes sense. Also, use a one-time disposable man’s razor!

For those worried about shaving changing your hair. Shaving = external. Hair growth = within the follicle / bulb. You might NOTICE the regrowth more (stubble sticking out) but it cannot change the biology of how your hair grows (thickness, color, etc.) - an A&P instructor who was terrified of this happening.
