This didn’t look like a scam. It’s a meter taxi, meter is there for you to see. Actually these taxis do take cards, they have the POS machine with them.

Lol, you think that’s a scam 🤣. You open the Grab app and then go ask a traditional taxi company, the two prices are different, and people call it a scam. It’s the same as eating the same dish at two different restaurants and the prices being different. Only if you check the price on the Grab app, use a Grab taxi, and then get charged more than the app price would it actually be a scam.

Taxi prices always higher than grab, beside, 100k is the total price and that including the airport ticket If you book grab then you have to pay airport toll by yourself, probably 15 or 20k Im not 100% sure So not a scam

nice comparison video. you are right, this taxi is ready to go so pay a little bit more sounds reasonable. for services never ask "how much", it is expected you should do the first offer yourself. you know the grand price, so offer a little bit more, like 60k and settle if they offer 70 or 80k after that
