i don’t think he cried out of guilt what so ever. i think he was viewing himself from an outside perspective and was like wow i really feel sorry for david he just lost someone so close to him. like he was feeling sorry for himself without actually feeling sorry?? idk i can’t explain it but i def don’t think guilt or remorse brought the tears i think it was the desire to put on a performance and paint a picture
