I would disagree with viscose (plant based even if the production isn’t great..) being in the same tier as polyester and nylon… and with lyocell being above hemp, organic cotton or merino wool… other than that, absolutely agree and I think you’re absolutely right in saying we need to educate ourselves on this!

Merinowool goated, especially here where it get to -40C in winter, use it in the summer too. Just amaziing fabric, no really need to wash unless you get it dirty or direct contact w skin, just put it outside in the winter and its odor free for a long time after that.

I'm sorry...saying bamboo is actually viscose is like saying that this bamboo is actually sateen. You're not wrong but you're not quite right either. Viscose is plant fibers made liquid (viscosity). The plant fiber can come from bamboo, pine, maize, hemp, lined or whatever hard plant fiber. Like you can get a denim weave in all cotton or silk even, but it's still a denim weave.
