@animal.travel.adventures: Happy International Tiger Day 🐅 This video takes me right back to 2015, when Chester Zoo welcomed three beautiful Sumatran tiger cubs – Jaya, Topan and Kasarna. Born to mum Karana and dad Fabi, they completely stole my heart. Looking back now, I honestly think this was where my love of filming and photographing animals really began. I’d spend pretty much every weekend at Chester Zoo, happily watching these three for hours with my camera. I never imagined back then that it would turn into such a huge part of my life. Today isn’t just about looking back at special memories though. International Tiger Day is a reminder that wild tigers still face huge threats from habitat loss, poaching and human-wildlife conflict. Every effort to protect them, support conservation projects and raise awareness helps give these incredible animals a better future.
