So if I understand correctly: her wish didn’t make it so that magical girls didn’t have to exist anymore, but more so that magical girls never become witches. Their job is to clear out negative energy and despair, and whenever it becomes too much for them they simply disappear (hopefully, to join Madoka and pass on peacefully). This also means that the Kyobi’s species does not get the energy from a magical girl becoming a witch, but most likely from the act of destroying wraiths themselves (what Homura was tossing to Kyobi). It turns the parasitic relationship into more of a symbiotic one, since now kyobi is incentivized to help them fight without despair for as long as possible. Unless I’m entirely wrong lol.
