Can we normalize saying what train it is? Bc I took an Amtrak this past week and the business seats didn’t have that much room, let alone the coach 😭😂 I was on the Pacific Surfliner

Does anyone know if you buy tickets together, will they usually be assigned together? I'm traveling with ny bestie and a little worried about this

I just took the Amtrak. Seats only reclined in business class and seats were not assigned. Will definitely upgrade next time.
