if its static cling film you dont need the soap. it sticks with water only, you squeegee the water out. (i did this for my bathroom window)

Got the thick vinyl off of Amazon. This window was clear glass. It was difficult getting the cuts to the exact shape of each part but I love the way it came out and the diffused light in the mornings is so pretty.

I had a complete meltdown doing this in a one room in my house. It was the room that got the most sun and it was hot as blazes. That shit stuck everywhere but where I needed it to. After sweating buckets and ruining a sheet I completely lost it and had a childlike meltdown. It took me days to return to the task. But I did it. Yeah.

I tried this but with car window tint lol I thought oh I can do this I failed miserably, I was so hot sweating all over (it was summer) my husband came home to see me literally ripping out all the tint off the car windows. Never again lmao 😭😭
