I had a feeling that Stevens was a try hard in high school who was way too involved in the student government but was probably too annoying to be president or vice president. My suspicions were confirmed yesterday when I looked it up and found out that she was a student body treasurer. Also, her entire career trajectory looks like someone trying to speed run their way to higher office.
