We’re in the Ga month and Homowo is around the corner🙂‍↕️🎉 Kpokpoi/Kpekple(mispronounced form) is a dish of the Ga people which came about as a result of the gods granting them rain and bountiful harvest after a long famine. That is the reason for the celebration of the Homowo festival. Homowo means hooting at hunger. Translated literally as “hunger, go to sleep”.
