We avoid any SA zoo event with discounted prices. The crowds are too bad and the zoo has too small of a foot print. I accidentally showed up on bring a friend free day and didn’t stick around long.

I would say if you have the membership and felt like going it wasn’t bad. Thought still spending 9.99 just so you could stand in a crowd wasn’t worth it. Pretty much the same thing but parts of the zoo closed, and the dinosaurs had lights on them.

I went with my family last absolutely fucking not it was the worst we drove from across town. All of the parking was taken, and there was no traffic control. It was completely a dangerous situation.

it was truly awful. I have never been in a crowd that large in my life. if I haven't been hyping the kids all week I wouldn't have bothered as soon as I saw the parking situation. half way through, people left in masses and it was actually enjoyable. we're members but if I had to pay the 10 per ticket, id be asking for a refund. the merry go round and fire dancer was the highlight of the night. 🥲 not even the dinosaurs...
