Did you know that Anomalocaris (world's first animal apex predator) caused paleontologists and biologists a big hassle? When incomplete fossils have been discovered around the world, they seemed like they had belonged to three different organisms, and if they weren't misfiled as something else, the scientists couldn't explain them. Only decades later, a complete fossil was found. Suddenly, it all made sense. Those unexplainable parts of different creatures were all part of a single prehistoric arthropod. It was named Anomalocaris, which means "weird shrimp", or "unlike any other shrimp", because it resembles a shrimp, though it hunted its prey actively. There are some discussions and findings about earlier predators of a simillar family/stem, though Anomalocaris was the most significant change of the ecosystem in the Cambrian period.

@chrissie: People just sending 1 singular unserious sticker does NOT help btw long comments help better.for everyone who is struggling, please hold on. there is someone out there meant to be the person who holds you on those hard nights, there is a better road ahead and i know it is hard to see it right now. it will get better, you have probably heard it a thousand times, it gets annoying but i promise you, in a few years when you are healed it will be something you look back on. if you have people to text, whether its family or friends, you have reasons to stay. one day at a time, grab a coffee with a friend, rip up a page of homework you just cant figure out, go out and enjoy the world in the night when its quiet. you do not need to prove you are enough to someone who sees what you don’t see in yourself. you are more than just a daughter or son or child, more than just a person. you are unique, with your hobbies, your life, your humor, your skills, your interests. there is a better road ahead, don’t let yourself derail before you see it. i know it is hard, but you are worth more than what you see in the mirror, you are worth more than the empty words that one voice in your head constantly tells you. your story isnt over for a reason, because there is something better for you just out of reach and you deserve to be able to reach it. you are loved, even when it doesnt feel like it. you are loved, even when you dont want to hear it. you are enough, even with a failing grade or having to stretch money out for your kiddos. you are doing amazing, even though you dont see it. i know it is hard, but you are closer to the stars than those voices in your head ever will be. you are enough. you are loved. you are cherished. you are worth living, i repeat, people just sending 1 singular unserious sticker does NOT help btw long comments help better.for everyone who is struggling, please hold on. there is someone out there meant to be the person who holds you on those hard nights, there is a better road ahead and i know it is hard to see it right now. it will get better, you have probably heard it a thousand times.
