did hotel desk for 3 days until a guy came down from his room asked me what the weather was for the day I pulled out my phone to look and he started screaming about how I should have already known and I was wasting my time and demanded my manager I quit on the spot

nahh,some are true if you can handle it personally, but most of the time you are just the middleMan you received complain/request and let the department responsible for it handles.. but also it depends on hotels system.
