Truck's fault for tailgating, he was riding too close too fast, the swerved into another lane with a vehicle that he could've easily destroyed, which ended up crashing into another innocent after losing control trying to avoid the truck.

trucks at fault and liable for all damages. should have never been so close. Not saying the car that slammed on brakes is in the right but as far as insurance cares it's all the trucks fault.

I know the person who took the exit instigated the whole chain of events. I am a driving instructor. I say the truck driver shares blame. If he could not react to the car braking, he was following too close. He should not have swerved hitting the red car as well.

Here's an idea. Instead of hitting your brakes bc you're going to miss your exit, you just keep on driving and you take the next exit.

folks got it wrong the red car was just trying to pass everybody it was the car in front of the semi that was slamming on its brakes to get over two lanes to the exit the semi swerved into the red car to avoid hitting the vehicle in front of him hitting the red car cause it to spin out and to slide over four lanes get it right folks

For those who dont understand the truck drivers reaction: If you hit a vehicle head on you have a great chance of killing the car in front of you. It was a split decision reaction. Even if you train and prepare for dangerous scenarios, driving 70 ish hours every 8 days is mentally exhausting. The trucker is at fault because of following distance was terrible. Should never lives at danger because you want to drive a certain speed. 4 wheelers are chaotic. 18 wheelers need to be precise to get through the chaos.

Wasn’t trying to get to get off the exit ….obviously lost control after swerving to avoid collision with the truck, so in conclusion in court the truck is liable for damages made to both car because he made a swerve without checking and also I didn’t see a indicator
