Notice how the kneecap is easily slid away from neutral by @doctorlara_trauma. 🔎Patellofemoral joint hypermobility can increase one’s chances of suffering a patellar dislocation, which involves situations where the kneecap slips fully out of the femoral groove. 🧠Patellofemoral joint dislocations are fairly uncommon and only occur in 2-3% of the population.
