In seperation after 20 years of marriage... Same happened. He filled for divorce after I decided to go into a separation because I wanted to do therapy and he didn't want to work on the relationship. Sometimes it's better to know where you stand.

I’m praying for her because I tried doing that for 15 years, and on the 20th, I was forced to wake up and be alone. Although it’s hard, it’s a lot better and more relaxing now. I’m just working on putting myself back together.

Asked me for months to do marriage counseling, I said no because I was done. I started going for myself over a month ago. He won't go to one for himself, he is the abuser. My therapist told me to have him find a marriage counselor, it took him 2 weeks. Then he told me he would only book it if I was staying. A week later, my therapist told me to have him book an intake and then let me know when he does and I will book one. She said that will help me, they will see that this marriage is not fixable. Two days later, he hasn't made the appointment and I doubt he will. He was making excuses right after I told him.
