I’m noticing it on so many videos when I scroll

It’s called banding. It’s from over compression on areas of gradients, like walls, skies, etc. It has nothing to do with the Pro Max vs Pro vs 14,15,16 etc. TikTok will compress a lot but usually won’t cause banding unless you are using too high of quality in. Recording and then sending to an editor and then receiving and posting (especially if you use Google Drive) can easily cause this because repeatedly exporting h265 footage degrades it quickly. The easiest way to avoid it is post in the size and quality that TikTok works best with, as well as avoiding flat gradients like plain walls. But really the audience won’t notice and it doesn’t really matter much overall.

I’ve been seeing other creators use the xtra muse… but I had the same issue and I’ve been using the iPhone Air… that would actually does pretty well..

Try updating your software. Sometimes that fixes little bugs that are going on with the phone. But if that doesn’t fix the issue I would recommend going into the Apple Store if you have one near and they can diagnose it and maybe even replace it if you have apple care 💛
