the only thing wrong with The Rookie is the title; it only worked when Nolan was a rookie. i still love the show and how it's grown though. just rewatched the whole thing ready for the new season to start!

i think what also helps is people are literally begging for longer seasons to have more time to bond with the characters to get more invested in the stories. high stakes dont matter in a show if you've only had 6 episodes to get to know a character

The thing that got me to watch it is when Bradford is rescuing Chen from the barrel when she got kidnapped, the hug that he gave her just melted my heart, and I started watching it from then on so the next day, I watched until I caught up, which was literally like a month or maybe longer before season three started so I had to catch up as fast as possible, and I have been hooked ever since, and no, I do not regret it!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
