“Men have no game”. Oh my God, I felt this in the deepest part of my soul. Take the men at my office, for example. They’ll walk up to me, ask how I’m doing, and then immediately let this painfully awkward silence hang in the air. Suddenly I’m the one who’s expected to carry the entire conversation. It’s honestly so fucking pathetic, and I’m genuinely wondering if other women experience this too. Like… I’ve never dealt with anything like this before. If you can’t hold a normal conversation, why are you coming up to me in the first place to ask how I’m doing? It’s so fucking awkward. And it’s not just men at work either it’s men out in public too.

Oh God, I mean they are suggesting anything but to actually talk to a woman. you like approach her, shoot your shot. You might get no or declined. But at least you know where you stand without being weird or creepy and you know, she might come around, you know, when she sees that you're not actually weird or creepy about it. You just took it like a man. So just talk to her. It's okay to get turned down.

I don't want to add mental load to women but as a mom, I'm planning on explaining to my son what to do or not do to show romantic interest, when he reaches that age. I don't necessarily trust what his dad would advise and who better than a woman to explain what's right, if he's into women.

Give her a compliment. Not on her body, and be very careful if it's about her clothes. My current partner came up to tell me he loved something. I think it might have been my necklace or the hawk shaped fidget I had. He has had a thing for me for a bit but had never talked to me. We have been going strong for almost a year now.
