Not a hot take because its the truth, but the song is pretty good. People only hate on it because "it sounds like nothing like Nightmare". As if any A7X record has sounded anything like the previous one. Seventh Trumpet sounds nothing like Waking The Fallen. City of Evil sounds nothing like the self titled. Nightmare sounds nothing like Hail To The King. The Stage is when they started incorporating more electronic elements and they've clearly been going this direction for a while because they're bored of writing metal.

I do think Statica is a big departure from A7X. That being said, I don’t think it’s as bad as people are making it out to be. Maybe it’s just me, but I kinda like it.
