@creation_museum: Carbon dating is incapable of proving evolution over millions of years. After about 100,000 years, carbon 14 decays entirely.

Good thing there are other dating methods aside from carbon 14 dating 👍

There’s more than just carbon. For instance Uranium-lead caring goes back hundreds of millions of years.

Technically true, but blatantly misrepresented. Carbon dating is only for very specific things. Radiometric dating in general however is VERY reliable, and utterly refutes your young Earth claims.

The three main laboratory techniques used today are:1. Accelerator Mass Spectrometry (AMS)How it works: A particle accelerator separates carbon-14 atoms from stable carbon isotopes by their mass. It counts individual carbon-14 atoms directly. [1] (https://www.radiocarbon.com/about-carbon-dating.htm), [2] (https://news.uchicago.edu/explainer/what-is-carbon-14-dating)Key advantage: It requires a very small sample size (such as a single thread or tiny bone fragment) and can date older or rarer objects. It is the fastest and most modern method. [1] (https://news.uchicago.edu/explainer/what-is-carbon-14-dating), [2] (https://www.radiocarbon.com/about-carbon-dating.htm)2. Liquid Scintillation CountingHow it works: Scientists dissolve the sample or place it into a liquid chemical mixture (a scintillator). When carbon-14 decays, it emits a flash of light (a scintillation), which a specialized machine detects and counts.Key advantage: It works well for larger, bulk samples like wood, charcoal, or cloth. [1] (https://mci.si.edu/dating-artifacts), [2] (https://www.radiocarbon.com/about-carbon-dating.htm)3. Gas Proportional CountingHow it works: Researchers convert the carbon in the sample into a gas (like carbon dioxide or methane) and place it inside a specialized radiation detector tube. The device measures the electrical pulses created by radioactive beta particles as the carbon-14 decays.Key advantage: It is a traditional, highly reliable method, though it requires a much larger physical sample compared to AMS. My Spec :
Any kind of radioactive dating method has to have a starting point or “initial” concentration. What is the starting point? Like Carbon 14. Do you assume some amount of C14 to start? T1/2 is about 5700 years for C14. To assume that all C was C14 “millions of years ago” is baloney. The TR of radioactive decay is useful measurement is 5-7 half lives. At most, you could be accurate to about 35,000 years IF (it’s a really big if), you assume it was all C14 at the start. Maybe “science” shouldn’t put the conclusion before the theory.

The fact that he doesn’t realize there’s multiple radiometric data methods is enough to ignore him completely. That said, you can look at the moon & realize the earth is old. The fact that multiple dating methods come up with the same dates is statistically impossible.

LOLMost large mineral crystals and gemstones (such as quartz, beryl/emerald, or feldspar) actually take millions of years to grow deep within the Earth's crust as magma slowly cools or hydrothermal fluids circulate.

“To date things millions of years old, scientists use radiometric dating. This method measures how unstable radioactive elements (like uranium, potassium, and argon) slowly change into stable elements at a steady, predictable rate. By measuring the remaining amount of these elements in volcanic ash or surrounding rocks, scientists calculate the age.”

The dating process can only be off by a few percent. we're talking less than 5%. So say a million years 5% of that would be the most it would ever be off And that would be 50,000 years

So he knows about half-life, but doesn't know about uranium and lead? And how long that takes to form? Thus proving the world as billions of years old?

Carbon is one of the basic elements on the periodic table that is virtually everywhere. Space travelers which we will be here shortly will use carbon based testing to analyze planet geography and weather.

Correct sir it’s not always accurate. Sometimes they go under what the years actually are so what some say billions may be trillion.
