Under the hood is an 8.0 liter naturally aspirated V10 engine that delivers 500 pound feet of torque, and with all its power sent to the rear, they are very easy to oversteer. In the moments before you hit a wall, you may look for some safety features, but don’t expect to find many: the second gen Viper has no ABS, no traction control, no stability control, and just two airbags. It also runs massive 335 millimeter tires in the rear, and if you let them get old, you’re asking for trouble. But if you’re a seasoned driver, you may tell a different story. The Dodge Viper is unapologetically raw, and it offers a driving experience like no other, mating a six speed manual with four hundred fifty horsepower.
