It was created by mathematician Ronald Graham while solving a problem in Ramsey theory, and for a time it was officially listed in the Guinness World Records as the largest number ever used in a serious mathematical proof. Even powers like a googol or a googolplex are microscopic compared to Graham's Number. If you tried to count toward it, the universe would die long before you even reached the beginning of its true scale. Yet despite its absurd size, Graham's Number is still finite meaning it is not infinity.
