I tan cuz otherwise I burn in the sun in summer. I have an entire protocol that includes a lot of sun exposure early in the year to get the "crust". It's literally for my health and convenience at this point - even tanning beds would be primarily for health during winter.

Originally being pale was desirable because it meant you didn’t have to work outside. But then tanning became a sign of being able to travel to beach vacations. As some one who is naturally pale. I tan because I think it looks better with a lot of colors.
