That doesn’t mean you need to make your application more aggressive, you need to stop getting the crummy people to the application in the first place. The wrong audience (or low level audience) will have you convinced that your great offer is a bad one. Look around at your best clients. Do they need you to change your offer? No? Okay great, so then the offer isn’t the issue. 3. Hiring people to babysit bad clients does not change the fact that they are…bad clients. A higher headcount to chase results just shrinks your margins so you make less. Hiring more people doesn’t change who you’re attracting. NOTHING makes the wrong client stay. Stop trying to save them, start attracting people who don’t need saving. Stop optimizing for MORE. Start optimizing for BETTER.
