I had cichlids for a while, a few varieties over the years. They are very territorial and ate and bullied all other fish. Even each other.

I had a friend who tested out the "house with bigger fish and you'll be fine" method. It killed a fish at least 1.5 times its size. The entire reason I know they exist and are mean.
