@jeffharryplays: This might be an unpopular take, but I’m Pro Data Center. You should be able to build as many data centers as you want. I just have a few stipulations: 1. That data center is required to be 50 feet or less from the individuals who benefit the most from it. 2. The Elon Musk or Kevin O’Leary oligarchs who could earn trillions from it must drink the polluted water of that data center 3. The data center oligarchs must consume all the animals and insects that they poisoned to build it, including the bees dying which will destabilize the ecosystem 4. They must sleep right next to the data center creating massive noise pollution every night 5. Any rationing of water or other resources that happens in the community starts with their mansion and corporate offices Sometimes you got to sacrifice to get what you want. If you love your data center so much, wouldn’t you want it in your own backyard to appreciate it and experience all of its benefits.
