Rule of thumb: if surface is same height as kitchen sink, use counter stool. If taller use bar stool

Grab measuring tape, measure how high you’d like to be seated. Go on amazon or where ever you’re getting your stools from, and ensure the legs are about the size you measured. Best way. All bar stools and counter stools are different sizes 👍🏼
