What are you going to do in 5 years when you can't park in RV parks big enough for that rig? Most next to the cities or places of civilization you might want to go won't allow RV's over ten years old park there.

We drove from Texas to Washington State over a 4 day period. We stopped wherever we wanted to to eat, fuel and restroom breaks. We drove 8-10 hours each day and spent 3 nights at wonderful hotels along the way for between $75-$95 each night. Maybe I just don't get the RV life?

we got a sprinter van so we don't HAVE to pay for campsites if we don't want to. We're fully contained and have Starlink so we can literally park anywhere

And though I don't live in mind full time, I don't need to bring my house with me. I just need to be comfortable. I boone, dock up to 6 days multiple times. I pay nothing for the campground. $9600 for my new to me slightly used by the previous owner 2012 Jayco 22FB 90 gallon fresh tank 32.5 gallon gray and.black tank With five new tires, only because they were five years old. New awning, solar lithium batteries and the installed woodstove I am about 15K. My 2005 Duramax now has 92K miles and I bought 9/2022 for 30K.
