Being the more dominant one in the relationship, people just assumed Minjeong would be at Jimin’s beck and call. So, Yizhou decided to test their theory out. — Minjeong and Yizhou made their way back home together and they hadn’t even crossed the threshold when footsteps rushed towards them. “Baby! I missed you!” Jimin threw her arms around Minjeong and swung side to side. “You were waiting for me again?” Minjeong asked, raising a brow. Jimin nodded excitedly, peppering kisses all over her girlfriend’s face. Yizhou’s eye twitched, her face crumpled in disbelief. “Like a puppy waiting for its owner?” she asked. Jimin’s head perked up. “Oh? Yizhou, you’re here too? Didn’t see you there.” Yizhou blinked. “Do other girls not even register to you when Minjeong is in front of you?” “They don’t register to me even when Minjeong isn’t around,” Jimin shrugged. “Jimin.” “Yes, baby?” “My bag is killing me.” “Oh gosh! Let me help.” Yizhou watched with her mouth wide open as Jimin carried Minjeong in a bridal style and placed her softly on the couch. “Unbelievable.” Once on the couch, Yizhou couldn’t stop ogling at how Jimin started pampering Minjeong. “I’m hungry.” “What do you want? Should I make something?” “No.” “Then?” “I want something from outside.” Jimin immediately whips out her phone. “Chinese? Thai? Japanese?” “Actually…can you cook us kimchi jjigae?” “Of course.” “Do you need help?” “No, honey. Just sit here and rest,” Jimin pecks her head before walking to the kitchen. Yizhou watches the whole situation with a look of disbelief. — “Tell me if you don’t like it. I’ll make you something else.” “Don’t be silly,” Minjeong kisses Jimin’s cheek. “You know I love your cooking.” Yizhou’s chopsticks freeze halfway to her mouth as Jimin looks down at her hands, blushing so furiously that the tips of her ears turn pink. “Here, taste it.” Jimin pours a ladle full of soup in Minjeong’s bowl and turns to her. “You know I can feed myself right?” “I know,” Jimin pouts, “But I wanna…” Yizhou’s jaw drops. Did Yu Jimin just freaking pout? Minjeong chuckles, shaking her head before opening her mouth. Jimin scoops up some soup and blows on it. “Careful. It’s hot. I don’t want you getting hurt.” “How is it?” Jimin asks before Minjeong could even swallow. She watches her reaction intensely. “Mm! Delicious,” Minjeong mumbles with a full mouth. Jimin grins like the clouds are raining down money on her. Finally receiving Minjeong’s praise, Jimin digs into the food herself. Yizhou on the other hand drops her chopsticks. “God…if only people knew how whipped you are, Jimin,” she whispers to herself. — “I don’t believe you. Jimin isn’t like that.” “Yeah. Remember last year she made a first year cry when she looked at his model house.” “For real! She didn’t even say anything and he just burst into tears.” “To be fair she didn’t even show any emotion on her face before she met Minjeong.” “I’m serious! You all are so wrong. She’s totally wrapped around Minjeong’s finger.” Yizhou sighed. “Yeah right.” “You think someone that whipped would be known as ‘the scary third year from architecture’?” “What are you guys talking about?” The table jumps as Jimin suddenly sits down beside them. Her face as cold as ever. “Nothing!” someone squeaked, making Yizhou roll her eyes. Jimin shrugs before opening up her books. Not even a second later, Minjeong pops up beside Jimin. “Jimin. I need you to take notes for me. My hand is tired.” Minjeong didn’t even look up from her phone before she started walking away. She didn’t even bother to look back to check if Jimin was following her. She already knew. “Of course!” Jimin haphazardly stuffed her books into her bag before running after her girlfriend with a stupid goofy grin on her face.
