Try Hormone therapy, weight lifting (game changer) no diet just eat in a caloriedeficit and try to eat healthy and unprocessed food and a lot of protein. Stop drinking alcohol or at least try to drink less. …. Last but not least.. go walking! Good for burning caloroes/fat and good for your brain!

I started in perimenopause 2 years ago and 1 year ago I lost my first son and I have young adult kids.
Eventually I may want back to work and have no idea what path to go towards. I spent 19 years in finance and corporate chewed me up and spit me out and than 2 years as a substitute teacher in Chicago and it was rough.
It is good to hear you started a new path during this very hard transitional years that our bodies are going through. how are you able to even study?

I look pregnant!!! Need to buy new clothes but bleh! I had surprise baby at 42 lol as thought menopause and after breastfeeding for a year and a half? It started. I was told couldn’t have a second baby without IVF back when my first about 8?!? And wasn’t happening. Yeah my boys 14 years, 1 month and 1 day apart. 10/11/2007 and 11/12/2021. Now time for me to figure out this actual perimenopause crap. As hate this.

Intermittent fasting. Must help those cells to be more insulin sensitive!!!! Eat breakfast at 1:00. Not fun but no choice.

im 48 and was always thin. last 3 years I packed on 50 pounds without changing anything. I didn't know what was happening to my body & mind. No one told us this biological change would hit us so hard in so many ways. I was lucky enough to get my doc to prescribe estrogen 2 months ago. I started hitting the gym & getting my steps in and have lost half the weight since May while overhauling my diet to focus on strength training. consistency pays off when we put in the work. training has also greatly improved my mood & confidence and I recommend it for all others in this stage. you got this!! AND WE GOT THIS 💪
