What are you using to hold them to the stake? Grew broad beans a few years ago and learnt that you pick them while the are young or they taste weird

I have broadbeans flowering also, but they also have aphids which have already destroyed one plant so I feed it’s a race against time to see if I get some broad beans now 🤣
