I’m the girl in the first vid!! Thanks for this video!! I’ve actually had lots of girls asking what their porosity is, but I definitely agree that it’s not set in stone! I’ve never bleached or had heat damage, so my hair has basically stayed the same, but we all have different hair stories ☺️💕 My video was more so meant to be relatable + help girls understand their own hair, not to diagnose anyone!!!

My hair still on the super high porosity side still. Can only use super heavy shampoo & cond and product. I never colored my hair and haven’t straighten it in a while. My hair is crazy dry no matter what. Happy found the products my hair likes.

I base everything solely on hair thickness, because that tells me whether I need lightweight or heavier products. I used to use heavy butters and oils and noticed my hair was either very dry or weighed down; now I’ve switched to a routine with lightweight formulas, and my hair feels light and airy 🩷 Base your choices on this and your hair type.
