I thought forgiveness was for yourself not for them. like your releasing your pain and resentment towards them to get it out of your body. it doesnt mean you accept what they did or excuse it or even let them back into your life but you can set your own heart free from the hurt or hate. Not that im good at this! i still hold plenty of grudges 😅😅😅😅
