I was on her ass for about a week about not texting me, keep in mind she had no job and didn't go out. I understand that people get busy, and that's fine. But when I become a background character, that's not fine. I kept getting upset with her and telling her she needs to put in a little more effort and she ended up leaving me saying she was mentally exhausted, after only a week of me trying to set a boundary about good communication. Some people just refuse to put in the effort

Im sorry if people dosagree with this but this is so draining? I get youre in a relationship but people get busy, they dont have to text you every hour, and if they dont answer, you should know they are busy, they probably love you lots but you arent the only thing important in their world.
