Being empty nesters… we’re ready for our youngest to start his second year at college. You have no idea how much you love being empty nesters until they come home for the summer. You may think that’s impossible right now… because we thought it was impossible… but we can’t wait for him to go back to school.

beware of what you wish for!!!! the empty nest only gets more expensive. They bring more back home. (BUT IT IS SO GREAT).

Our baby just graduated and is starting college this year. She’s the baby of 5. I feel it too. These past 4 years, she was the only one left in the house and it was definitely hard. Just remember, they may not depend on you anymore, but they will always need you. And with them not being dependent on you just means you’ve done a great job raising them.

Both my boys are grown but my oldest lives with us with our grandson I love having them here cause I can go see my hubby whenever I want and not have to find a dog sitter

It’s very sad to become an empty nester. I did cry. I was like what am I gonna do now taking people to practices wrestling, football games, marching band practices. I thought I didn’t have enough time in the day doing all that. But when I didn’t have it to do and I was sitting home alone, it was hard.
