I don’t wear wigs so this wouldn’t be my story, but, as you told the story I immediately thought, I hope they helped her get it and put it back on - they delivered! I’d have snapped that wig up so quickly my friend wouldn’t even know what happened, no discourse needed. Love that for us 🥰

Used to wear wigs in a former life, before the lacefront wave so the risk was high. No glue, just a strap, a hat on top on windy days and prayers 😂😩 Luckily nothing like this ever happened to me, thank God. I don't know what I would've done. I would've been mortified😳 I'm glad your friend's colleagues were kind about it. I can't lie, I'd be paranoid about whatsapp group chats on wig gate (I have trust issues) but it is what it is.
