I was on the pill from 16 to 30. My orginal OB had prescribed me a “healthier” pill around 25. I had a dangerously high BP for those years. I moved cross country and got a new female OB. Her exact words, “Idk what your prior OB was thinking, your pill is going to kill you if you don’t stop. There’s well documented case studies showing your current pill and high BP, for red heads specifically…” switched pills and *poof* instantly in normal range. Had a tubal ligation a year later. THEY DONT CARE ABOUT US.

I don’t recommend BC. Some people love it, cool for them, but personally it messes with hormones too much, too many side effects, and it’s just not it

Seriously! Society tend to groom women to interpret everything in black and white when there’s a ray of colors to flip through. Personal Experiences need to be explored so the public can make educated choices in their own lives moving forward. Keep talking! Someone is bound to relate in some shape or form ✨💖

I stopped taking bc pill 5 years ago after being on it for 22 years..since I was 12 years old 🫠. I read studies on how it affected who you were attracted to (which i jokingly blame my first marriage on 😂) and all sorts of side effects of long term use.
