Shopping multiple agents is not against the rules. But almost every time I see it, the same thing is going on underneath. Nobody has locked down the financing yet, so the buyer keeps assuming the agent is the problem. The agent is rarely the problem. The pre approval is. Get the loan side figured out first and picking the right agent gets a whole lot easier, because now you both know exactly what you are shopping for.
