I sat there thinking I had walked into the middle of something. Then the fourth call came in and it clicked. Nobody is getting cheated on. He has three different real estate agents all showing him houses at the same time and none of them know about the other two. Here is the part that actually matters for you. Shopping multiple agents is not against the rules. But almost every time I see it, the same thing is going on underneath. Nobody has locked down the financing yet, so the buyer keeps assuming the agent is the problem. The agent is rarely the problem. The pre approval is. Get the loan side figured out first and picking the right agent gets a whole lot easier, because now you both know exactly what you are shopping for.
