Mom Allegedly Waited Hours to Call 911. A 5-week-old Missouri baby was rushed to the hospital with devastating Inj*ries—and police say both of his parents played a role in what happened. Kenai Logun Kelley, 19, is accused of violently shaking his newborn son before intentionally dropping him face-first onto a hardwood floor. According to court records, Kelley allegedly admitted he was angry when he shook the baby by the legs for about a minute. The child’s Inj*ries were considered life-threatening and required emergency brain surgery. Kelley is charged with child Ab*se or neglect and is being held without bond.
