My family is Muslim, (Middle East) I have no fkn rights, I'm forced to wear a hijab whenever I go out with them which is rare cause I'm strictly forbidden from going out alone to the point it would be so funny if i talked to them about this, my older brother found out I'm a feminist (online) he just goes around the house making fun of me and keeps saying I have no rights, and he's right, I don't, my mom stopped talking to me when she found out I no longer believe in god although I still wear a hijab like muslims and haven't left the house at all since school ended months ago but she will never speak to me and keeps saying behind my back that im a wh**err

idk much about any but islam sort of gave women freedom. before islam arabs were burying their daughters alive because they were not born boys. islam gave the woman to have ownership over husbands wealth. im an atheist myself in a majority muslim country but analyzing religions without any bias whether it is hateful or not would be much more beneficial
